Prakruthi College of Pharmacy, kolar was established in the year 1992 with D pharm course and we started B Pharm Course in the Academic year 2025-2026 under the auspice of Sree C Byregowda Educational and Cultural Trust (R). an institution under Sree C Byregowda Educational and cultural trust ® in the memory of great visionary of the Late Sri C Byregowda ,Ex- Agricultural Minister, Govt of Karnataka.
The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Drug and Food Administration, Board of Examining Authority, Karnataka, and Approval by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) New Delhi and Recognizedby Government of Karnataka.
Prakruthi College of Pharmacy, located in Thoredevandahalli about 08 KM from kolar. It is a beautiful atmosphere spread over an 11 acre campus with massive building, spacious class rooms, and well-equipped laboratories, incubation center, well stocked and digital library and play ground. Well qualified, experienced and dedicated staffs.

D Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) Duration 2 years
D Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) Duration 2 years
D Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) Duration 2 years
Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part-I course pass in 10+2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.(PCM/PCB/PCMB/PCMC)
OR
Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination.
B Pharm (Bachelor in Pharmacy) Duration 4 year
D Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) Duration 2 years
D Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) Duration 2 years
Direct B PHARM (4 YEARS) - PASS in PUC/10+2/intermediate with aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.(PCM/PCB/PCMB/PCMC) and 40% for SC/ST
LATERNAL ENTRY II B.Pharm ( 3 years) - PASS in D PHARM Course with aggregate of 50% and 40%f for SC/ST.
Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Schedule
Direct B PHARM (4 YEARS) - PASS in PUC/10+2/intermediate with aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.(PCM/PCB/PCMB/PCMC) and 40% for SC/ST
LATERNAL ENTRY II B.Pharm ( 3 years) - PASS in D PHARM Course with aggregate of 50% and 40%f for SC/ST.
Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt. /State Govts./Union Territory Administration as the case may be from time to time.
